A Cat Charity based in Thurrock, Essex which is run solely by a dedicated team of volunteers. We have friendly and feral cats for adoption; cats of all shapes, sizes, ages and colours. We are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of cats no matter the temperament. There really is an owner out there for every cat. All of our cats come with a lifetime rescue back up. This means that at any time of the cats life, if your circumstances were to change and you could not take care of the cat any longer, we would always welcome the cat back under our care and rescue.
We also offer a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) programme to help control and contain the cat population. There are many cat colonies in and around Essex and it is important that they are neutered to prevent further breeding and are health checked to prevent the spread of diseases such as Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV).
Our Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) volunteers, over the years have helped well over 1000 cats and have brought hundreds of feral kittens and domestic cats into rescue for socialising and rehoming.
Our team will often be working throughout the night in order to carry out the trapping of feral cats. Traps are monitored every 3-4 hours during the night and our team work closely with feral cat carers to ensure the welfare of the cats is never compromised.
Whilst we do not charge for our Trap, Neuter, Return service, each cat we help costs approximately £60 so we do ask for donations where possible.
Did you know, many feral cat colonies we help are in double digits? Recently, we have supported many 40+ feral cat colonies.
Feral cats have different needs to their domestic relations and it’s important that these needs are taken into consideration by those carrying out TNR work. After they have been neutered, cats are then released back to their colony location, providing the area is safe for them to do so.
We have a wonderful variety of friendly cats available for adoption – from playful kittens to gentle seniors, in all sexes, personalities, and temperaments. Whether you're looking for a lively companion or a calm cuddle buddy, we’ll help you find the perfect match.
When you adopt through us, you're never alone – we offer lifelong rescue backup and ongoing support through our friendly, dedicated rescue team.
Our volunteers do everything from scanning found cats for microchips and putting up posters to help reunite them with their owners, to collecting deceased cats with care and compassion. Some help by transporting cats to and from veterinary appointments, while others assist with vital fundraising, trap cats as part of colony management, or pick up donated items that keep our rescue running. A key part of our adoption process also includes carrying out home checks to ensure potential adopters can provide safe, loving environments—another important and rewarding volunteer role within our team.
We would happily accept any food donations for the cats in our care.
We also offer our donations to other rescues too if we are unable to make use of what has been donated.
The work we do and service we provide relies heavily on donations, any donations you wish to make would be gratefully accepted and most of all appreciated.
By offering a temporary, loving home, you’ll help cats recover, regain confidence, and get ready for their forever families.
We are a warm, welcoming team of experienced volunteers who are always here to support you. Our dedicated rescue team works closely with our veterinary partners to ensure every foster cat receives the care they need — and you’ll be fully supported every step of the way.
Everything is provided by the charity, including food, litter, vet care, and supplies. You simply provide the love and time.
Whether you're helping a timid cat come out of their shell, nursing one back to health, or just offering a safe place to rest, fostering is incredibly fulfilling — and it truly saves lives.
Our team is always happy to share guidance on a wide range of common cat issues. If your cat has gone missing, we can offer practical, proven tips to help bring them home. Found a cat in your area? We can advise you on how to safely approach, befriend, and support them.
We also provide advice on toileting issues, such as inappropriate urination or litter tray problems—something many cat owners face at some point. If you’re introducing a new cat to your household, we’ll help you do it gradually and calmly to reduce stress and build harmony between cats.
Some cats need time to adjust to life indoors, especially if they’ve come from the streets or difficult backgrounds
